Picpoul de Pinet

Domaine de la Madone
Picpoul de Pinet
Items Number: 371

The vineyard stretches over the Thau Bassin and the Herault river. The Domaine de la Madone, family owned single estate for many generations, covers 15 hectares of vines planted on the high terroir des Castelnaux.

Harbest takes place at night when grapes have reached full maturity in order to preserve the aromas and the fruit intensity. When the grapes arrive in the cellar they are immediately protected against oxygen and pressed. The fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures.

It has a lovely pale crystalline green robe, a pleasant nose with aromas of acacia and hawthorn flowers and a great freshness, rich and generous palate with a fine acidity.

Classique

Luc Pirlet
Viognier
Items Number: 270

The Luc Pirlet estate is located in the Languedoc Roussillon, the largest wine-producing region in France. Luc is fortunate in having his vineyard in the greatest part of this region which combines the advantages of the Mediterranean and Atlantic climates near the Pyrenean Mountains. As a result, the wines produced have the fruitiness given by the south-facing Mediterranean hills, and a good level of acidity due to the high altitude of the hills on the Atlantic side.

This classic viognier has a brilliant pale gold color with touches of flowers and fruits (pears, apricot, peach, etc.). The texture is finely balanced and the blend is fresh and flesh.
