A ruby robe with purplish highlights. The olfaction is intense with roasted black cherry and prune notes. The end is slightly spicy with hints of pepper. The palate constitutes a an intense concentration of flavours. The attack is full-bodied with aromas of cherry, liquorice tints.The whole is harmonious. This wine has a beautiful volume with great elegance and delicacy of pinot noir.

Gilles Lesimple is the fourth generation of a family of winegrowers. Based in the well-known village of Chavignol (a commune in Sancerre), he has been a winegrower since 1997. Well located, facing South and South West, they are planted on three principal types of terroir. The harvest is done mechanically, and lasts about two weeks.

Domaine de la Renaudie is the duo of two winegrowers and oenologists, Patricia and Bruno who lead for about 40 years old their vineyard located in Val de Loire on the slopes of the Cher’s left bank on “Terroir de Chenonceaux”. They are producing white and red wines under the Touraine Chenonceaux appellation as well as white, rose and red wines under the Touraine appellation. The entire surface of the 30 hectares of vines is cultivated with respect for the environment and they are “Terra Vitis” and “Reasoned Agriculture” certified.
