The Cazade vineyard is located 40 km from Saint-Emilion and 30km from Sauternes. They are surrounded by great appellations.
Their terroir gives Château Rambaud wine its own character, a specific taste and texture. The production of their grapes is carried out in a qualitative and thoughtful approach in order to be respectful of the environment and the consumer. They minimize any treatment with chemical substances and they favor manual labor for de-sucking and weeding.
Today, Bernard Cazade, his wife and his brother have taken over the succession of this magnificent property. They try to perpetuate the family history and the life of Château Les Rambauds with a single philosophy, to preserve and defend this heritage so dear to us. His grandparents, farmers for forty years, decided in 1912 to acquire a small property where they turned mixed farming into viticulture. Much later, his parents gave birth in 1968 to Château Les Rambauds. It is on this date that the first carefully prepared bottles of wine will be marketed. For 3 generations, they have been perpetuating the traditions of viticulture by rigorously selecting the grape varieties. They vinify themselves, for love of the profession, as they learned from their parents and grandparents.
