Circa 1850, Honoré Geoffroy established his first vineyards around the villages of Beine and La Chapelle Vaupelteigne in the Chablis region. Alain Geoffroy expanded the property into a full estate. A worthy heir to previous generations, he committed to keeping the traditional family character.
Backed by the whole family’s hard work towards the development of the estate, the wines have received many awards and distinctions over the years. The estate has 50 hectares of producing vineyards and has gathered a young and dynamic team to produce fresh, fruity Chablis wines with a good mineral character, respecting the typicity of Chablis. The wines are bottled exclusively on the estate.
Today, at the Alain Geoffroy estate, they continue to take good care of their vines so that they yield not only thirst-quenching wines but subtle and elegant Chablis. All Chablis are produced on Kimmeridgian geological zones, formed during the Jurassic period, which give their wines a distinctive aromatic richness and minerality.
