Georg Gustav Huff

The Georg Gustav Huff estate has been family-owned for 300 years. The success of the estate is based on the experience and knowledge of the terroir that has been passed down from generation to generation.  

Although the property had been in the family for generations, Huff Estates’ grand reopening was in June 2004. This new facility was constructed with one thing in mind: producing high quality wines.

Today, the team is composed of Dieter Huff, his wife, Helga, their sons, Daniel and Stefan, and their daughters-in-law, Stefanie and Carolin. The youngest members of the winery are Jakob and Philipp, sons of Daniel and Stefanie.

The 43-acre winery is Located in Nierstein, “the Riesling city.” Huff owns the best vineyards on the “Rother Hang”, including Schloss Schwabsburg. “Rother Hang” means “red slope”, and is called such due to the colour of the soil created by red slate. 

Huff is committed to the highest level of quality wine, and Daniel Huff is one of the most reputable winemakers in Rheinhessen.
