In 1932, Maurice Lesgourgues launched his corn collection business in the village of Peyrehorade. His son Jean-Jacques developed the family’s seed business and, in 1974, brought back to life the flagship of Armagnac, the unmissable Château de Laubade.
In 2020, in Gascony, with three generations of know-how behind them, Milhòc was born, a single-grain whisky subtly combining corn and malted barley.
Milhòc whisky is the fruit of a bold vision, rooted in the rich terroir of Bas-Armagnac. The corn was planted on the family estate, honoring a heritage of excellence and history, then combined with traditional distillation methods to create distinctive spirits that reflect the essence of Gascony. The brew is made with partner French breweries, according to precise specifications, incorporating our corn and malted barley of French origin.
Each bottle of MilHÒc is the fruit of meticulous, artisanal care. No coloring, no cold filtration, just the purest expression of our whiskies.
The Lesgourgues family’s passion for old spirits, their respect for terroir and tradition, their commitment to a sustainable model, and finally their great creative freedom, have given birth to the exceptional whisky that is MilHÒc.(*)
(*) MilHÒc, pronounced Mi-Yoc, means corn in Gascon.
