Pace has been making wines since 1934. Grandfather Bernardino and son Giovanni, were among the pioneers of winemaking in Roero.
Once a farm full of plums, cherries, peach orchards, the famous Modernassa pears, and hazelnut bushes, today it is fully dedicated to vineyards.
Today, Dino and Piero are in charge of the winery. They joined their father Giovanni in 1996, with Dino focused on the vineyards and Piero in the cellar. The 4th generation is already part of the team, with Matteo and Stefano, Piero’s sons.
Currently the winery has 22 hectares planted with Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis, Favorita, Chardonnay and Pinot Nero.
