Blanc of Black : a white wine made with black grapes. This is Julien Meyre’s challenge with plot 353 and 38. Why this plot of land ? Inherited from his grandfather, overlooking the river and benefiting from an exceptional climate, it met all the conditions to make a great wine.
Manual harvesting in crate, followed by a direct pressing. This wine is aged in stainless steel and recalls the «Heavy Metal» note of its winemaker.
The freshness and liveliness in the mouth resonate like a Hard Rock album and the notes of white peaches dance delicately on the finish like a romantic ballad. A deliciously atypical wine in its shape, texture and fruit.
