The Chavignol terroir is famous for its unique soil composition, with two distinct types influencing the wines produced there. The vineyards, particularly those on slopes like Côte des Monts Damnés, benefit from sun exposure which likely contributes to the ripeness of the grapes.
Selection of grapes from the single vineyard of Côte des Monts Damnés. Pneumatique press and minimum of 48 hours sedimentation of the must to remove the solid parts. Thermoregulated vats, neutral yeast to keep the original nature and the typicity of each terroirs that makes this cuvee.
Finally, aged on fine lees for 12 months.
Colour: Brilliant and pale yellow.
Nose: Aromas of citrus and exotic fruits, with floral notes. Well-balanced minerality.
In the mouth: Opens with a burst of lemon, a refreshing zap that awakens your palate. The spiciness you feel on the tip of your tongue is then balanced by the richness and fullness typical of wines from stony vineyards. This beautifully complements the lively mineral character that comes from grapes grown on flint soils. These white wines generally have good aging potential, lasting 3 to 4 years.
