In wood barrels (250l), parts in big, used oak barrels/barriques.
Full ruby to dark garnet in colour, with a nose reminiscent of violets, blackberries and bitter chocolat. On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety and pleasantly bitter.
Goes well with game, red meat and piquant cheese.
