Vineyards located in Rocca San Giovanni, by Costa dei Trabocchi at 150 m above sea level. The soil is calcareous, with clay mix.
Harvest starting around mid October. Soft press of the grapes. Maceration and fermentation in stainless steel. 40% of the wine is barrel-aged for 8 months, then blended with the rest, 60% steel-aged wine.
Intense red ruby color. Red apple, ripe plums and violets hints. Fresh ripe red fruits flavors, good structure and body. Ideal with beef, veal, pork and pasta dishes.
