Cru Morgon, one of the famous Cru Beaujolais, is based in the heart of northern Beaujolais.
Côte du Py is the heart of Morgon, a little hill of very old blue stone rocks, the oldest soils of Beaujolais (around 400 000 millions years old), with a very blue characteristic color.
It is known for centuries in Morgon that Côte du Py is the best terroir of the village, producing long lived wines with strong structure and flavors.
Soils and Terroirs among the most typical in Beaujolais, with respect of nature and biodiversity. Les Charmes or the climate of Morgon located on a sandstone dome near the ancient Roman road.

After manual harvesting, a fortnight’s maceration as well as a phase of light pumping-over and punching-down, we obtain a mineral and tense wine suitable for aging. Aged in stainless steel.
Wine of character with a strong personality, finesse and elegance. Les Charmes, planted on sandstone, has yielded a generous, open wine with firm background tannins. It is young and the juicy fruits are right up front.
