Family owned estate for 3 generations, brother and sister operated (Francois-Xavier and Marie-Madeleine Maratray). Located in Ladoix-Serrigny (between Beaune and Nuit Saint-Georges).
It is a wine of medium intensity of color. Its bouquet is elegant, quite powerful, marked by a dominant of small red fruits, evolving then towards the undergrowth after some years of ageing. Supple, discreetly tannic, it presents however a full-bodied structure, lacking neither character nor power.
Perfect with red meat roasted in the oven and cheese.
