Cabernet Sauvignon -Mendocino-
Deep purple color, with aromas of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and dried herbs. On the palate black fruit flavors repeat and couple with black pepper, coffee, sweet oak, cassis and a hint of leather. The texture shows balanced tannin and a round mouth feel. This wine offers nice depth and concentration and should age well over the next ten years.
This Chardonnay is fruit forward and very food friendly. Aromas of crisp bosc pear, red delicious apples, citrus blossom and lemon zest intermingle with the modestly restrained bouquet notes of toasted oak, vanilla, nutmeg and hints of clove. On the palate, fruit reflecting the nose abounds with the additional suggestion of stone fruit.
While Gewurztraminer might be hard to pronounce, ours is easy to drink! Delight your senses with attractive aromatics and luscious flavors of rose, juicy fruit, lychee, grapefruit, and mixed spices. This wine is as much a pleasure to smell as it is to drink. Its structure makes it approachable now, although experience suggests an additional year or two of aging would be worth the wait. Indulge the senses by pairing this wine with bratwurst on a pretzel bun, apple chutney, Raclette cheese, or mandarin chicken.
This Chenin Blanc is fresh, fruity, and ready to enjoy. Lovely aromas of Granny Smith apple, lime, melon, peach, orange blossom, and hints of mineral make this wine a joy to swirl, sniff, and sip. With flavors matching the aromas, this wine is round, rich, and lively on the palate. Even “non-wine drinkers” have been known to fall in love with the Husch Chenin Blanc. This is the ideal wine for fish tacos, fried chicken, or a mid-afternoon picnic.
